The darts used by teenage sensation Luke Littler have fallen to a stunningly low price ahead of Christmas. Littler, who recently added the Grand Slam to his avalanche of titles in a remarkable debut year, has quickly become an idol for darts fans thanks to his ridiculous talent and ability to perform on the biggest stages.
Now, the darts favoured by the 17-year-old – Target’s Luke Littler G1s – have fallen to a very tempting price ahead of Black Friday. Throughout most of 2024 they’ve retailed for around the £100 mark, but Amazon has cut the price down to £80 – the lowest I’ve seen this year, and it’s created quite a buzz in darts Facebook groups.
The discount is only available in the 23g version – one of the most commonly used darts weights – while the 22g and 24g options are still £99.99. Target says the Generation 1 Steel Tip Darts were designed in collaboration with Luke ‘The Nuke’ to his exact requirements and specifications and used during the World PDC Dart Championships 2024, plus many tournaments since.
They’re made from high-quality 90% Tungsten and feature an intricate pixel grip design, with a combination of precision milling and radial grooves and finished with a black PVD performance coating. The 23g barrel is 52mm in length, with a diameter of 6.5mm, and, for added peace of mind, all Target Darts barrels come with a lifetime guarantee.
Reviewers have been full of praise, with many saying how they improved their performance at the oche. One said: “Unbelievable! Throwing better after just two days of changing to these darts.”
A second added: “ Really great darts, beautifully balanced and the nicest set I’ve ever played with. I swapped out the shafts for rotating ones, which really work for my style. I regularly get 140s, but haven’t managed a 180 yet, but that’s just my skill level. Great purchase to replace my Jockey Wilson Set from a long time ago.”
Another went on: “A well-made dart, nice on the hand and fantastic balance, really happy with them.” A thrilled buyer continued: “These are more expensive but the best dart I have ever thrown.”
Despite the praise, they haven’t worked for everyone, with one buyer saying: “The tips are so soft that after 15 minutes play, I had to change them because they could not hold the flight anymore. Not the quality expected for the price.”
Another complained that the item arrived damaged. The darts can also be purchased from Target directly, though they’re still full price at £99.95.
Fans might also want to consider world champion Luke Humphries’ Red Dragon darts, priced at £46.90 on Amazon and directly from Red Dragon.
