“But Tiger loves to break records, and I think he’s got the will and the game to still win Majors, even hurt. I always root for him, I believe in him, and I don’t think Tiger’s done yet,” John Daly said on the Like A Farmer podcast, expressing his confidence in Tiger Woods’s abilities. Daly’s optimism about Woods’s potential is rooted in his own experiences and observations, and he believes that Woods still has what it takes to win major championships. In fact, Daly points to Phil Mickelson’s win at the PGA Championship at 50 years old as evidence that golfers can achieve great things even at an advanced age.
Daly’s enthusiasm for Woods’s prospects is in stark contrast to his own struggles with health issues on the Champions Tour. Despite his physical limitations, Daly remains competitive, but he wishes he could get healthy enough to regain his form and truly compete on the tour. However, the surprising thing is, another golf legend is contradicting Daly’s words as he sees the 82-time PGA Tour winner in a different light.
Per the latest tweet by TWLEGION, Jack Nicklaus has made a bold prediction about Tiger Woods’s future in golf. According to Nicklaus, Woods will return to the game and excel on the Senior Tour. “Tiger will be 50 next year. I believe he’ll probably play the Senior Tour and I believe he’ll probably dominate the Senior Tour.”

Woods will become eligible for the Champions Tour after his 50th birthday in December, but his plans may be delayed due to a recent setback. Just a month ago, Woods underwent surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon, an injury that has already forced him to miss this week’s Masters and may keep him sidelined for the remaining majors this year.
Nicklaus attributes Woods’s potential success to his competitive nature, saying, “Tiger will play for competition. He loves competition, and he’s very good at it, obviously.” He also believes that Woods will overcome any challenges he faces, stating, “Tiger has had his issues, and he’s overcome most all of them each time he’s had them. I fully expect him to do that again.”
Well, it is true. Time and again, Woods has shown why he is the GOAT, overcoming incredible challenges to achieve greatness. In 2008, he won the US Open despite suffering from a double stress fracture in his left leg and a torn ACL, relying on painkiller injections to power through the pain and securing the win with a clutch 19-foot birdie putt. In 2013, he returned to competition after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee, promptly winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational by defeating Jason Day and Tom Kuchar. And in 2019, he claimed his fifth Masters title after a five-year drought and a series of back surgeries, overcoming a grinding back issue to make a thrilling comeback and cement his legacy as one of the greatest golfers of all time.

Will Tiger Woods join the Senior Tour?
Paul Azinger, a former Tour pro and current Golf Channel analyst, believes that Tiger Woods will eventually join the PGA Tour Champions. At a recent event promoting the Chubb Classic, Azinger expressed his excitement about the possibility of Woods joining the tour, saying that it would bring a huge surge in global media attention. “I feel like there’s going to be great anticipation for Tiger Woods… You’ve got all those giant names on this tour, and you bring Tiger in, I think the global media shows up immediately.”
Azinger also thinks that Woods might feel an “obligation” to play on the senior tour, given the financial benefits he’s received from the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program. “I think Tiger might even feel an obligation to play the Tour… The Tour has given Tiger a lot of money in the last few years with that Player Impact Program. I’m sure he’s going to give back, and it’s going to be to all the benefit of these guys out here that are over 50.” Bernhard Langer, another golf legend, shares Azinger’s sentiment, and together they’re generating buzz about the possibility of Woods joining the senior tour. With their predictions, it’s clear that the golf world is eagerly awaiting Woods’ next move.
