Players competing in the 2024 WDF Lakeside World Championship will have £221,000 in prize money to share. The Lakeside tournament starts on Friday, November. December 29 – Sunday, December 8. The prize money is
significantly lower than in 2023, when £257,000 was made available. The reduction in prize money has not affected the amount going to the winners of the various components. The men’s tournament has a maximum prize of £50,000 on offer. Every participant is
guaranteed a prize of £750. The total prize money for the men’s tournament is £158,000. The women have £69,000 to split. They will also receive prize money of at least £750, and the new Women’s World Champion will go home with £25,000. There will also be separate men’s and women’s competitions,
with the winner of the men’s tournament receiving £3,000 and the women’s winner receiving £1,500. Certainly, there are some interesting names competing at the Lakeside. What can be said about darts legend Paul Lim, who is the only player to have thrown a nine-dart round at this iconic darts venue?
