Welcome to the USGA’s Rules 101! Upon completion of this course, you will have a very solid foundational knowledge of the

Rules and will be equipped to navigate the majority of Rules situations you might encounter during a round of golf. Rules 101 focuses on the playing Rules, especially those used or encountered most frequently by golfers.

 

This course is appropriate for anyone new to the game or to the Rules, but also for nearly anyone who does not already have advanced knowledge of the Rules.

 

To access this course, you will be prompted to create a free account (or login to an existing Rules account in our system). This is required to capture and store your progress through the course.
