The 2024 Paris Olympics was a memory that will last a lifetime for USA gymnastics star Simone Biles.
Many fans wondered how the 27-year-old from Spring, Texas, would fare following the Tokyo Games, during which Biles had to withdraw due to the twisties, an affliction in which a gymnast loses their sense of balance and direction in midair.
Not only did Biles bounce back, but she also had one of the best all-around performances among all athletes in Paris. She won three gold medals and a silver.
On Tuesday, Biles took to social media to not only flex her 11 total Olympic medals but also to acknowledge how a younger version of herself would feel about her recent accomplishments.
“6 year old me would be proud,” Biles captioned the post with teary-eyed, heart and fingers crossed emojis.
